This World
The world seemed so cold.
Emptiness running around inside his head.
These feelings he knew so well were back.
These feelings he knew so well to dread.
Thoughts swelled up inside.
Unable to contain his mind.
He felt like the last human alive.
No one seemed ever so kind.
In a world so cold,
How could she be so bright?
In a world so cold,
How could this be right?
Thoughts swelled up inside.
Unable to contain his mind.
They felt like the last humans alive.
They were so in love it made them blind.
The world seemed so warm.
Passion running around inside his head.
These feelings he loved so much were back.
These feelings he would never dread.
